The holiday season is a time for giving. According to WalletHub, Americans are very generous when it comes to charitable donations. In fact, WalletHub found that 95% of American households donate an average of $3,000 a year to charities.

In order to determine which state was most charitable, WalletHub considered a number of factors, including volunteer rate and growth in charitable giving. The results found that one western state was the most charitable state in 2015, by a long shot, followed by one on the eastern seaboard. Conversely, the least charitable state was in New England. Can you guess which it is?
