Southwest Airlines is already a favorite carrier for budget travelers, but its newest promotion takes low fares to a new high.

Through May 19, travelers can score flights for as little as $44 on travel booked for between August 23 and November 2 for both domestic and international flights. The exception is travel to and from San Juan, Puerto Rico. The travel period there runs from September 7 to November 2. And this probably goes without saying, but of course there’s the usual fine print about blackout dates and days of the week when the cheapest fares apply.

Deals include rock-bottom rates like one-way flights from Newark, N.J. to Austin, Tex., starting at $97, and from Los Angeles to Liberia, Costa Rica, starting at $174. For people who can be flexible about when they fly, this sale is a boon.

Although this promo is longer than most airline fare sales last, the cheapest tickets are bound to get snapped up quickly, so if you want a cheap seat, move fast.
