We know you probably have big plans for retirement, as well as a host of hurdles to overcome on the way. Here’s your chance to get some professional guidance, with MONEY footing the bill.
For a feature in MONEY magazine and online at Money.com, we are looking for individuals or couples who would appreciate some professional help on their journey to retirement. We’ll enlist a financial adviser to provide free assistance to you and, by extension, to readers of the article who may face some of the same challenges in achieving the retirement they desire.
For instance, maybe you have an ambitious goal of leaving a corporate job at age 55 to launch a more flexible “encore career” and you want to know how to adjust your saving, investing and spending to make that a reality. Or perhaps the financial demands of a family business—or the needs of an elderly parent or college bills for kids—are eating into your retirement saving at a stage when you had planned to be maxing out your 401(k) contributions. You could use professional guidance on how to balance your family’s current needs and preparations for your future. Maybe your challenge is something entirely different.
If you are willing to share your story with MONEY readers—and the financial pros we will consult for advice—you can fill out the form below. Or simply email reporter Kerri Anne Renzulli at firstname.lastname@example.org. Include your name(s), age(s), where you live, the best phone number to reach you, and a summary of your retirement objectives and challenges. Please also attach a photo.
Your information and photo will be kept private unless we get in touch with you and you agree to appear in the magazine. To participate, you must be willing to be photographed by a professional photographer and also videotaped for a short video to run on MONEY.com, all at no cost to you.
We look forward to helping you achieve your objectives.
