When it comes to the top places to take off and land, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is the best the U.S. has to offer, a new report says.

According to a new study from the travel rewards-focused site ThePointsGuy.com, Phoenix has the best accessibility and amenities and gets bragging rights as America’s best airport overall.

The survey evaluated the 30 busiest airports in the country, looking at the number of flight delays and cancellations, how long passengers have to wait to go through security screening, and how far away the airport is from the city it serves. Other factors include what public transportation options are available, the availability and variety of places to eat and drink, lounges, and how much it costs to use the WiFi and to park.

Data from sources such as Google Maps and the F.A.A. was used to reach conclusions in the study. After Phoenix, the rest of the top five airports were (respectively): the Portland (Oregon) International Airport, San Diego International Airport, Salt Lake City International Airport, and Honolulu International Airport.

The survey also took note of the worst airports in the country. The dubious distinction of the worst goes to New York City’s gateways — all three of them.

New York’s La Guardia Airport was labeled as the worst of the worst, followed by John F. Kennedy International Airport, and then Newark Liberty International Airport. (Chicago O’Hare and Detroit also showed up in the bottom five.) La Guardia was dinged for its high number of delays and cancelations, expensive parking, and long wait times. No wonder La Guardia has been slated for a $4 billion renovation.

For the time being, there’s not much for New York-area travelers to be happy about there — unless, of course, they’re flying to Phoenix.
