Salt or no salt? That's the essential question today, National Margarita Day. This made-up holiday comes with some awesomely tempting deals—namely, margaritas for as little as $1.50 a pop.

This year's round of margarita deals are available on Wednesday, February 22, at participating locations for these restaurant chains.

Bahama Breeze Island Grill: Classic margaritas are priced at just $2.22 each on February 22, and margaritas go for $5 every Monday, from February 27 through April 9.

Black Angus Steakhouse: Gold Strike margaritas, made with Sauza Blue Reposado 100% Blue Agave Tequila and Patrón Citrónge Liqueur, are offered at the special price of $5 on Wednesday, February 22.

Cheeseburger in Paradise: House margaritas are on the menu for $2.22 all day on Wednesday, February 22.

Margaritas Mexican Restaurant: On, February 22, anyone with a "Marg" or "Rita" in their name can get a free chicken burrito, cheese enchilada, or ground beef taco, with rice and beans on the side. [UPDATE: An earlier version of this story mentioned a $5 margarita deal, but it has expired.]

Margaritaville: All day long on Wednesday, margaritas are $3.50 apiece at participating Margaritaville and Land Shark Bar & Grill locations.

On the Border: Participating OTB locations are selling house margaritas for $2 or $3 each on Wednesday.

Ruby Tequilas: Draft beers and house margaritas are priced at $1.50 for regular and $3.50 for the "grande" size at this Texas-based restaurant chain on Wednesday, February 22.

Tony Roma's: The classic "Romarita" is priced at $2 all day on Wednesday.
