Farewell to the Coffee Coolatta.
The two might sound similar, but while the Coffee Coolatta is pretty rich and often cream topped, the new drink is said to be inspired by Dunkin’s traditional iced coffee.
“Our Coffee Coolatta isn’t good enough,” said Chris Fuqua, Dunkin’s senior vice president of brand marketing.
Fans of the Coolatta shouldn’t despair, however. The company is keeping the popular fruity versions of the drink on its menu.
“We’re always thinking about what is the next big thing in coffee, because we can’t just rest on our laurels,” said Anthony Bonitatibus, a brand marketing manager at the company.
