L.L. Bean is updating its classic Bean Boots with a new style for each season — but only for a limited time.

For the first time in the boots' 105-year-history, L.L. Bean is producing a limited-edition versions of its classic duck boots with different styles and colors. The Maine-based company is already selling its small-batch collection for the spring, offering the beloved boots in plum, olive and dark ash. Other color options for the summer, fall and winter will be released later in 2017, according to the company’s website.

The L.L. Bean boots are notoriously difficult to get due to their popularity — and the new batches will give costumers another chance to get the coveted shoes. However, once they’re sold out, they won't be making any more, a company spokesman told Bloomberg.

“While we have offered boots over the years implementing various styles and different materials, we’ve never before offered such a unique, one-of-a-kind limited batch of boots as these,” said L.L. Bean spokesman Mac McKeever. “We are indeed offering these in limited quantities and once they’re gone, they’re gone.”

The limited-edition footware comes after the company sold a record 600,000 pairs of duck boots in 2016, according to Business Insider. Taking advantage of their popularity, L.L. Bean aims to make 1 million pairs of the boots per year by 2018.
