For today only, some of Amazon's most popular devices are available at a deep discount. But, oddly enough, it's not Amazon.com that's doing the discounting.
Amazon says the Amazon Echo smart speaker was the best-selling product on Amazon Prime Day, when it was listed at $89.99, or $90 off the regular price. You'll be able to snag that same price again today from other retailers.
The Echo is back up to $179.99 at Amazon.com, but shoppers can find it on sale on Friday for only $89.99 at Best Buy, Bloomingdale's, Target, and other retailers. Likewise, other Amazon Echos, including the second-generation Echo Dot, are also on sale elsewhere.
Amazon now offers several smart speaker models, which all come with the virtual assistant Alexa and respond to voice commands to play music, control home settings, and even order a pizza. Here's where to find best Amazon Echo deals today, and some tips on how to get free shipping.
Bed Bath & Beyond: The Amazon Echo, Tap, and Dot are all on sale right now, priced at $89.99 ($90 off), $79.99 ($50 off), and $34.99 ($15 off), respectively. Shipping is free on orders over $29.
Best Buy: For August 4 only, the Amazon Echo is priced at $89.99 ($90 off), and the Amazon Dot is $34.99 ($15 off). Best Buy offers free shipping on orders of $35 and up.
Bloomingdale's: The Amazon Echo is on sale on Friday for $89.99 in your choice of white or black. Free shipping for members of Bloomingdale's Loyallists program, and free shipping with $150 minimum purchase for all others.
Shopko: Customers can buy the Amazon Echo for $89.99 right now, and shipping is free with a minimum purchase of $99 (use code SHIP99 at checkout). Free in-store pickup may also be available, depending on location.
Target: The Amazon Echo is also $89.99 at Target on Friday, and the Echo Dot is $34.99. Shipping is free for all customers with a $35 purchase.
