Imagine spending your days traipsing around the globe, staying in some of the most high-end luxury homes, sipping on cocktails by their private pools, and enjoying their exclusive amenities—all while getting paid handsomely for it.
For videographer Sorelle Amore, that’s not a fantasy, but rather her reality thanks to ThirdHome’s “Best Job on the planet” contest, which she won.
For winning the contest, Amore received $10,000 a month, a travel allowance, and even the opportunity to bring along one travel buddy for the three-month position. All she has to do is share her adventures in the 12 different homes with the world through photos and videos on social media.
And Amore may be the perfect person for the job. As ThirdHome revealed about her on their site, Amore has “traveled to over 40 countries and starting at the age of five, she instantly became obsessed with the beauty of people and of Mother Nature worldwide.”
Moreover, Amore has worked as a tour guide for multiple companies, an outdoor education instructor for kids, a lifeguard on some of the busiest beaches in Australia, a travel photographer and videographer, and an official promoter of Iceland and Greenland tourism.
Now, over the next few months, Amore will travel to The Glen House in Innerleithen, Scotland, the Designer Townhouse in London, Elk Run in Livingston, Montana, Villa Las Palmas in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the Rainforest Meets Sea/Villa Punto de Vista in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, and more.
“Whatever happens, I’m trying,” Amore said in her last submission video to the contest. “I wanted to make sure that I knew that dreams don’t die. And you can still keep pursuing and you just got to try.”
