Passengers who find cheaper flight tickets than those purchased on Ryanair may still get the best deal with the airline because of its new price-matching plan.
Ryanair’s new Price Promise, announced in its Always Getting Better plan for 2018, will refund customers who find less expensive flights offered by other airlines. In addition to paying back the difference in the fares, the airline will add a €5 credit, which is just over $6, to the customer’s My Ryanair account, an airline spokesperson said.
Under Ryanair’s 2018 Always Getting Better plan, the airline – which is already known for its low fares – also promises that 90% of its flights will be on time and that it will be plastic free in the next five years.
To qualify for price matching, passengers need to find flights that go to the same airport on the same day, give or take two hours. Full terms and conditions for the Price Promise will be posted on Ryanair’s website.
