William Brandon—Chipotle

Don't miss your shot: Chipotle is giving out free food this week.

The restaurant is honoring the 11th annual Hockey Weekend Across America with a buy one, get one free deal on Friday, March 2. The BOGO deal is good for one free burrito, bowl, salad or taco with one order per individual, depending on availability.

But there's one catch. To snag your free burrito, you must wear a hockey jersey to a participating Chipotle location between 10:45 a.m. and 10 p.m. this Friday. Seriously, no coupon is necessary—just walk in wearing a jersey.

Chipotle is the official sponsor of Hockey Weekend Across America. The fast food chain teamed up with USA Hockey, the independent organization that first created the weekend celebration in 2008. USA Hockey also partners with the International Ice Hockey Federation, the National Hockey league and the U.S. Olympic Committee.

This year, Hockey Weekend will likely get additional attention this year after the U.S. Women's team won gold over Canada at the Winter Olympics in a dramatic shootout.

Chipotle's sponsorship of USA Hockey is not in response to Team USA's success, a company representative told Money. The partnership began before the Olympics.
