Tuesday, July 24, is National Tequila Day 2018. And that’s reason enough to have a drink!
To celebrate National Tequila Day, Mexican restaurant chains like On the Border, Chuy’s, and Abuelo’s have some great drink specials featuring (what else?) tequila.
There is no particular reason why National Tequila Day is celebrated on July 24 each year. (It’s not as if there’s a bad day for tequila, right?) The calendar is full of fake holidays like National Tequila Day, which are generally created out of the blue for the purposes of marketing — or just as an excuse for guilt-free enjoyment of that day’s snacks or drinks. And, at some point, it simply became tradition for National Tequila Day to fall on July 24.
