How to Watch Today's College Football Games Online for Free

It is very easy to watch the college football games today for free if they are airing on ABC, CBS, or NBC. In most of the country, all you need is a digital antenna hooked up to your TV to watch today's games featuring Notre Dame, Nebraska, Georgia, and others for free.

To watch the college football games today being broadcast on pay channels like ESPN or FS1, fans typically use a satellite or cable TV account that includes those channels in packages. If you don't have cable and want to watch college football games online for free — at least for a limited time — consider subscribing to a streaming TV service.

The streaming TV services Hulu Live, DirecTV Now, PlayStation Vue, and YouTube TV all include ESPN channels and Fox Sports stations like FS1 in their basic packages. Meanwhile, the sports-focused Fubo TV streaming TV service has FS1 and many other Fox Sports channels (but not ESPN), and Sling TV includes ESPN channels in its "Orange" package and Fox-owned sports channels in its "Blue" package.

Figuring out what is the best streaming TV for you can be complicated. Each service includes different channels, and the price points vary. Sling TV is the cheapest of the bunch, starting at $25 per month, but it also includes the fewest channels. The other streaming TV services start at $40 or $45 per month and feature more channels — including local broadcasts of networks like ABC, NBC, and Fox in most of the country.

The smartest move is to try out one or more streaming TV services during a free trial period. All of the services above have free trials lasting five to seven days for new subscribers. So you could subscribe and live stream today's college football games for free — and then still have a few more days to test out the service. Just remember to cancel in time if you don't want to become a paying subscriber.
