You don't need cable TV or another pay TV subscription to watch these NFL games today, as well as the nationally broadcast "Sunday Night Football" game on NBC.

All you need in most of the country is a digital antenna, which you can buy for around $25. With a digital antenna hooked up to your TV, you'll be able to watch free, unlimited local broadcasts of major networks like CBS, Fox, NBC, ABC, and PBS.

There are also ways to live stream NFL games for free on your phone, or to watch NFL games online on larger screens. Check out the options below.

How to Live Stream NFL Games for Free on Your Phone

If you want to live stream NFL games on your phone, download the latest version of the Yahoo Sports app or NFL app. Each app provides free live streams of NFL games that are being broadcast on your local CBS and Fox stations, as well as nationally televised NFL games such as Chargers vs. Steelers on "Sunday Night Football" on NBC and the weekly "Monday Night Football" broadcast on ESPN.

These apps are free to download, and the NFL game live streams are free as well. But you can only use them to watch games online on a phone. The apps do not let you live stream NFL games on any kind of larger screen, such as a laptop or connected TV.

How to Watch NFL Games Online for Free Today

To watch NFL games online today on a larger screen, considering registering for a free trial of a streaming TV service such as Fubo TV, Hulu Live, DirecTV Now, PlayStation Vue, or YouTube TV. In most of the country, these services include local broadcasts of major networks in their packages, and each gives new subscribers free trials that last about a week.

After the free trial ends, these streaming services start at $40 per month. Remember to cancel in time if you don't want to become a paying subscriber.

How to Watch All the NFL Games Today

To watch NFL games that aren't broadcast on major networks in your part of the country, you'll have to subscribe to a special package that includes broadcasts of out-of-market games.

One such option is the NFL Game Pass package. It costs $99.99 for the season, but new subscribers can sign up for a seven-day free trial. NFL Game Pass lets you watch (or stream) out-of-market NFL games, with the caveat that you only get access to the games after they're over. But if you can stay away from spoilers on TV highlights and social media, it's a reasonably affordable way to watch NFL games all over the country. As a bonus, NFL Game Pass can save you time, because subscribers can watch condensed, commercial-free versions of the games.

The other main option for watching out-of-market NFL games is DirecTV's NFL Sunday Ticket. Subscribers get to watch NFL games live, but it's quite a bit more expensive than NFL Game Pass: The price of NFL Sunday Ticket starts at $300 per season, and that doesn't include the cost of subscribing to a pay TV service.
