SUNY College at Brockport

Situated near Rochester, N.Y., SUNY College at Brockport is one of the most selective institutions in the State College of New York system, but has a mid-sized undergraduate student body of around 7,200 students. The school's faculty, a group that includes several Fulbright scholars, teach courses in about 50 undergraduate majors and 50 graduate or certification programs. The most popular majors are nursing and health sciences; other high-enrollment degree programs include business, criminal justice, and psychology. Students can take advantage of the college's extensive study abroad program at more than 100 locations around the world, or internships with major corporations. Four out of every five SUNY Brockport students receive financial aid; students can also complete a work-study program to help pay their tuition. On campus, students can take advantage of more than 120 clubs and organizations, as well as over 20 NCAA intercollegiate athletic teams. The expansive Tower Fine Arts Center houses two theaters and an art gallery.
