Lehi, Utah

Picturesque views are abundant in Lehi with vast mountain ranges directly to the east and Utah Lake just south. About half an hour from the booming Salt Lake City and located within the Silicon Slopes tech bubble, Lehi provides plenty of ways to pursue a career in the area. As home to powerhouse companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Vivint, Oracle, and Xango, its economy is flourishing. The surrounding county saw a 37% job growth from 2010 to 2018, and it's projected to grow another 10.2% by 2023, cementing it as one of the fastest growing cities in the country.

Lehi is certainly not all about work, though. With ski resorts, hiking, fishing, and hunting nearby, the overall Utah Valley has attracted many outdoor adventure enthusiasts. Named after a prophet from the Book of Mormon, Lehi is one of the oldest cities in the state founded by Mormon pioneers. Those seeking a little dose of culture should visit Thanksgiving Point, a non-profit complex with multiple nature museums, shopping, and restaurants. — Chloe Wilt
