Got a spare $250 million lying around? A palatial Bel Air mansion can be yours.

CNBC reports that handbag and leather goods magnate Bruce Makowsky is behind the project, which was built on spec—and he's been keeping it largely under wraps until now. Among the home's perks is what CNBC is calling "the most advanced home theater in any U.S. home," along with an 85-foot infinity pool, two wine-champagne cellars, and a spa and fitness center.

The estate, which clocks in at 12 bedrooms and 21 bathrooms, also comes pre-equipped with $30 million worth of cars, millions worth of fine art, and six-figure Roberto Cavalli table settings.

"I wanted to redefine what super-high-end luxury homes are all about," Makowsky told the network. "I wanted to break all the molds. The level of quality and attention to detail in this house is unsurpassed. And I wanted to create the greatest feeling that you can have being at home."

Experts expect that even if it doesn't reach the $250 million price tag Makowsky has set, it will have set the record for most expensive home ever listed, topping the previous record holder, a $195 million property in Palm Beach County. If it can find a buyer, the Bel Air property will go down as the most expensive single home ever sold in the U.S.

CNBC says it took more than 300 people more than four years to build.
