In case you hadn’t heard, Amazon is trying to single-handedly transform Cyber Monday from one day of awesome deals into a shopping event that stretches for more than two weeks.
Right now, some of Amazon's best deals are on subscriptions to digital media services as well as old-fashioned paper magazines — with some costing $5 a year.
Amazon Deals on Digital Media
Amazon Music Unlimited: 3 months for $0.99
If you’re a new subscriber, you can get three months of Amazon Music Unlimited for just $0.99, a giant discount off the regular price of $7.99 a month for Prime subscribers and $9.99 a month for non-Prime members. Subscribers get access to stream more than 50 million songs, plus thousands of curated stations and playlists — ad-free and on-demand.
Audible: 3 months for $6.95 per month
Right now at Amazon, you can get your first three months of a new Audible audiobook subscription for just $6.95 per month, a 53% discount off the regular price of $14.95 per month.
Amazon FreeTime Unlimited: one month free
This all-in-one subscription for kids’ media gives you access to movies, books, apps, videos, audiobooks, music, and more. Subscriptions normally start at $2.99 a month, but you can get your first month free.
Print Magazine Subscription Deals
Prefer flipping pages to reading on a screen? Amazon's got you covered. Right now Amazon has super-low prices on dozens of print magazine subscriptions, which are generally being sold on an auto-renewal basis — meaning your subscription automatically renews and charges you for the next year, though subscribers do receive a reminder first.
Note that these prices can and do change. Earlier this week, all of the subscription deals below cost just $3.75 each, before being bumped up to the (still cheap) price of $5.

Amazon is promising hundreds of new deals that will be available for one day only in a selection of popular categories, from pets to PCs.
