This holiday season, Amazon is planning to hire more than 120,000 people in various different roles, from customer service to jobs in sortation or fulfillment centers.

The temporary positions are available in 33 states, including Nevada, California, New Jersey and Missouri, according to the company. There are already more than 125,000 full-time Amazon employees working at more than 75 fulfillment centers, where items are picked, packed and shipped. More than 200,000 people work for Amazon in the U.S. alone.

“We look forward to welcoming back holiday employees who return year-after-year to Amazon and welcome new faces to the team, many of whom will continue on with regular, full-time roles with the company after the holidays,” said Dave Clark, Amazon senior vice president of Global Customer Fulfillment, in a statement.

Amazon is not the only company to be hiring in anticipation of the holiday season. The United Parcel Service is hiring 95,000 part-time package handlers, full-time drivers, and full-time “driver helpers” (employees who help lift and deliver packages) for the 2017 holidays, and Target plans to hire about 100,000 seasonal employees in its brick and mortar stores.
