Concordia University-Saint Paul

Concordia University-Saint Paul boasts one of the more affordable private educations one can get in Minnesota, with a net cost of approximately $18,000 per semester. CSP offers plenty of scholarship opportunities, and every full-time student receives a complimentary laptop upon admission. This school is part of the nine-member Concordia University System operated by the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, but welcomes students from all faiths to its campus in St. Paul. The school has one of the largest military populations of any private school in Minnesota, and grants college credit for military training. The most popular majors out of the school's over 80 options are business, kinesiology and exercise science, and psychology. When students want to have fun, there are 30 clubs to choose from, plus the student ministry hosts weekly events for students to mingle with peers while exploring their faith. Notable alumni include model Raina Hein, runner-up on season 14 of America's Next Top Model, who attended the school on a Division II volleyball scholarship; the 2010 graduate helped her team win two national championships. The Golden Bears have also brought home a total of nine national championships in softball, baseball, basketball, and football.
