Fairleigh Dickinson University-Metropolitan Campus

Fairleigh Dickinson’s Teaneck, N.J., campus sits just 10 miles outside of New York City, giving students a blend of suburban calm and big-city access. One of two FDU U.S. locations that, taken together, make up the largest private university in New Jersey, the Metropolitan location has more than 4,000 undergraduates and a campus that stretches across the East and West banks of the Hackensack River. The campus is home to a diverse student body -- 21% of which are minority and international students. Academically, the Silberman College of Business is one of the school’s strongest programs, and the QUEST program allows students to combine their bachelor’s degree with a master’s in education. At FDU's Metropolitan campus, about half of students are commuters; at its Florham location, the majority of people reside on campus. The Rothman Center, home to the university’s NCAA Division I sports teams, is the central hub of campus activity.
