Holy Family University is a private Catholic school divided into three Pennsylvania campuses: Bensalem, Newtown, and Philadelphia. It's a small university, with over 2,000 undergrads and nearly 1,000 graduate students. The undergrads can choose from 40 different majors spread over four schools, where most classes have fewer than 20 students. Nursing and healthcare is by far the most popular program. Holy Family also runs a co-op and an internship program, through which the college helps place juniors and seniors in positions related to their major. The placements can also serve as formal instruction eligible for college credit. About three-quarters of students are women. The university is 20 minutes from Philadelphia, which is home to a host of other colleges like University of Pennsylvania and Temple University. Students can join or cheer on one of the 14 NCAA Division II men's and women's teams on campus, or participate in one of the school's about 25 clubs and 10 honor societies.
