Perhaps most notably, its $1.50 price point for a hot dog and soda hasn’t budged since the 1980s. But Costco hasn’t kept all of its customers’ favorite food items on shelves. Here are seven discontinued Kirkland Signature-branded items long-time members may miss, and in some cases, similar alternatives. ## 7 Discontinued Costco Items If you miss your favorite Costco snacks and ingredients, you're not alone. Here are seven Kirkland Signature-branded ones that have disappeared. ### 1\. Boston cream pie The Kirkland Signature Boston Cream Pie was last seen around 2010, according to Redditors who discuss missing the product. The Kirkland Signature Chocolate Mousse Cake is a good alternative. It’s a moist chocolate cake and is available in the chilled section of the Costco Bakery. ### 2\. Red grapefruit cups The Kirkland Signature Red Grapefruit Cups are nowhere to be found on Costco shelves. But the company regularly has alternative brands like Del Monte Fruit Naturals. ### 3\. Turkey burgers Kirkland Signature Turkey Burgers were discontinued in 2018. Some Costco customers petitioned to bring these turkey burgers back into warehouses, but to no avail. Columbus Premium Turkey Burgers are a good replacement that are still available in Costco. ### 4\. Apple crumb muffins Two six-packs of Kirkland Signature Apple Crumb Muffins used to sell for $9.99, but this item has disappeared from Costco shelves. The best replacement is the Kirkland Signature Caramel Apple Strudel Bites, which contain 12 strudel bites per container. ### 5\. Extra large honey roasted peanuts These popular honey roasted peanuts are no longer available at Costco stores. The best alternative for the Kirkland Signature Extra Large Honey Roasted Peanuts is Hampton Farms Roasted Sweet Honey Super XL Peanuts. ### 6\. Soy milk Costco [reportedly](https://wbznewsradio.iheart.com/content/2025-03-25-costco-discontinues-fan-favorite-item/) discontinued its Kirkland Signature Soy Milk last year. The “Your Good Foods Organic Unsweetened Soy Beverage” is a good alternative. Oat milk, almond milk and coconut milk products have been gaining more traction, and you’ll find each of these food items in Costco. ### 7\. 100% Mediterranean blend olive oil Kirkland Signature 100% Mediterranean Blend Olive Oil was discontinued last year. But you’ll still find the Kirkland Signature Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Kirkland Signature 100% Spanish Extra Virgin Olive Oil and other olive oils available. ## When it's time to stock up Not every fan-favorite stays in Costco warehouses forever. Many shoppers say that once you see an asterisk on a price tag, it means that item won’t be restocked, and it’s time to stock up and find an alternative. But if your favorite snack disappears, it’s not necessarily forever. The retailer recently brought back the Kirkland Signature Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips after discontinuing them in 2024 amid rising cocoa prices. Items are also often seasonal, which means you might just have to wait a few months to stock up. ```json { "@context": "https://schema.org", "@graph": [ { "@type": "BreadcrumbList", "@id": "https://money.com/costco-discontinued-foods-members-miss/#breadcrumb", "itemListElement": [ { "@type": "ListItem", "position": 1, "name": "Home", "item": "https://money.com" }, { "@type": "ListItem", "position": 2, "name": "Shopping", "item": "https://money.com/shopping/" }, { "@type": "ListItem", "position": 3, "name": "Food and Drink", "item": "https://money.com/food-and-drink/" }, { "@type": "ListItem", "position": 4, "name": "7 Discontinued Costco Foods Members Still Miss" } ] }, { "@type": "WebSite", "@id": "https://money.com/#website", "url": "https://money.com", "name": "Money", "publisher": { "@id": "https://money.com/#organization" } }, { "@type": "WebPage", "@id": "https://money.com/costco-discontinued-foods-members-miss/#webpage", "url": "https://money.com/costco-discontinued-foods-members-miss/", "name": "7 Discontinued Costco Foods Members Still Miss", "isPartOf": { "@id": "https://money.com/#website" }, "datePublished": "2026-11-02T16:30:32.000Z", "mainEntity": { "@id": "https://money.com/costco-discontinued-foods-members-miss/" }, "inLanguage": "en-US", "breadcrumb": { "@id": "https://money.com/costco-discontinued-foods-members-miss/#breadcrumb" } }, { "@type": "Article", "headline": "7 Discontinued Costco Foods Members Still Miss", "articleSection": "Shopping", "image": [ { "@type": "ImageObject", "url": "https://img.money.com/2026/10/Explainer-Discontinued-Costco.jpg", "width": 2151, "height": 1394, "caption": "Explainer-Discontinued-Costco" } ], "author": [ { "@type": "Person", "name": "Marc Guberti", "url": "https://money.com/author/marc-guberti/", "@id": "https://money.com/author/marc-guberti/#author", "description": "Marc Guberti is a personal finance writer who hosts Breakthrough Success, a podcast where he teaches listeners how to grow their businesses and achieve personal transformations.", "worksFor": { "@id": "https://money.com/#organization" } } ], "publisher": "https://money.com/#organization", "datePublished": "2026-11-02T16:30:32.000Z", "description": "If your favorite Costco snack was discontinued, you're not alone.
