Ellen O'Neill took a circuitous route to find her dream job as creative director at the paint company [Benjamin Moore](http://www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/welcome-to-benjamin-moore). Her first gig out of college was at a science magazine, which turned out to be a poor fit. Her eye for beauty and fearlessness led her to take over a women's hardware store a few years later. That endeavor landed her at Ralph Lauren and then Starwood Hotels, where she helped create comfortable and stylish interiors. At Benjamin Moore, she puts her color curiosity to good use, helping customers see what's possible when picking out paint for their homes.
