Donnie Wahlberg [loves Waffle House](https://money.com/donnie-wahlberg-500-tip-waffle-house/?utm_campaign=moneymagazine&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=social&xid=frommoney_soc_socialflow_facebook_money) and the people who work at the restaurant so much that he has left large tips at two different locations this summer.

The New Kids on the Block and *Blue Bloods* star left a $2,000 tip on an $82 bill at a [Waffle House](https://time.com/4281083/waffle-house-robbery-customers/) restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Wednesday.

"My mom waited tables, and my dad tended bars — for years!" Wahlberg wrote in a [Facebook post](https://www.facebook.com/DonnieWahlberg/photos/a.748879115135754.1073741828.746341305389535/1610083879015269/?type=3&theater). "So, when I walk into a #WaffleHouse, and the staff treats me like a king, you better believe that I treat them like queens!"

Last month, Wahlberg pulled a similar move at a Waffle House in Edgewood, Maryland, by [leaving a $500 tip](https://money.com/donnie-wahlberg-500-tip-waffle-house/?utm_campaign=moneymagazine&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=social&xid=frommoney_soc_socialflow_facebook_money) on a $62.75 bill for the overnight staff at the restaurant.

Wahlberg, whose love for Waffle House is [well-documented](https://money.com/donnie-wahlberg-500-tip-waffle-house/?utm_campaign=moneymagazine&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=social&xid=frommoney_soc_socialflow_facebook_money), is currently on [tour with New Kids on the Block](https://www.nkotb.com/tour) and will play in Charlotte on Thursday. His generosity extended further in Waffle House — while there, Wahlberg posted a Facebook Live video with a *Blue Bloods* fan, saying he was giving her backstage passes to meet New Kids on the Block during the show.

A representative for Wahlberg did not immediately respond to a Money request for comment.
