With dozens of questions and plenty of unfamiliar financial vocabulary, filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid can be intimidating. But succumbing to that intimidation is costly: delaying or skipping out on the FAFSA could cost you thousands in financial aid for college, and making mistakes on important questions could lead to hassles and more paperwork down the road.
