Come Saturday, we know that the candy will be free. In addition to the freebies provided by trick-or-treating, Halloween has also come to be a time when all sorts of restaurants offer special deals and promotions for free or deeply discounted food. You didn't want to cook on Halloween anyway, right?

Baja Fresh: Use the linked coupon, and kids in costumes eat free with the purchase of an adult entrée, through October 31.

Baskin-Robbins: The last thing you need on Halloween is more treats, but participating locations for this national ice cream chain are offering one-scoop cones for just $1.31 on October 31.

Chipotle: Each customer in costume can get a $3 burrito—or rather, "boorito"—on Halloween from 5 p.m. until closing.

IHOP: On Friday, October 30—not Halloween itself—kids ages 12 and under are welcomed to one Scary Face pancake (made with Oreos, candy corn, and whipped cream) free of charge anytime between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Krispy Kreme: Customers at participating locations are welcomed to one free donut any time on October 31, so long as they're dressed in Halloween costumes.

Krystal: On Halloween, kids 12 and under eat free when they're dressed in costumes, with the purchase of an adult combo meal.

99 Restaurants: Kids 10 and under eat free on Halloween with the purchase of an adult entrée, and an ongoing promotion in which kids eat free on Sundays also means another freebie on the day after Halloween, Sunday, November 1.
