For an upcoming story about buying distressed properties, Money magazine is looking for people who are buying a foreclosed or short-sale home to use as their primary residence.

Specifically, we're looking for people who bought a foreclosure or short sale in the past six months or who are in the process of buying such a property now. The story will focus on people buying a distressed property to live in themselves, not on people buying such properties as investments. The story will offer guidance and advice to people interested in buying a distressed property for their next home.

Participants should be willing to disclose in the magazine how much they paid, or are paying, for their new home.

If you're interested, please send a brief e-mail to Beth_Braverman@moneymail.com. Include your name, your home town or city, a phone number where you can be reached, and a brief description of your home-purchasing experience.

Thank you!
