Money’s interactive travel map can help you find the perfect destination at the right price for you.

To use it, select your desired type of vacation and price range — you can pick one or more choices in any category. The destinations that meet your specifications will appear on the world map. Click on each pin to see the destination, then visit "learn more" to get the vital stats. You can also zoom in and out of the map.

We calculated your expected "cost of a day" in each location by adding the typical cost of a night in a hotel, three inexpensive meals, and one mile-long taxi ride. Select "$" to see vacations that typically cost less than $150 a day, like stays in Fes, Morroco; Cusco, Peru; and Reno, Nevada.

Ready to spring for some luxury? Select "$$$$" to see vacations that typically cost $250 a day or more, like trips to Paris, San Francisco, and Santorini, Greece.

Try it yourself to see how far your money will take you...
