National Taco Day is Wednesday, Oct. 4, and this year's celebration brings with it a spicy mix of free tacos and other great Taco Day deals at restaurants all over the country.
Whether you like hard or soft tacos, bowls or extra guac, there's a good chance a restaurant chain near you has something special planned. Taco Bell, Chuy's, El Pollo Loco, On the Border, and Tijuana Flats are among those offering free tacos or deals on National Taco Day, including two-for-one taco specials and mini tacos for as little as 50 cents each.

People who celebrate National Taco Day should keep a special eye on Taco Bell deals: This year, customers can get a "gift set" of four tacos—which includes a crunchy taco, Doritos Locos taco, Cool Ranch Doritos Locos taco, and Fiery Doritos Locos taco—for just $5.
California Tortilla
For every taco you buy at regular price on Wednesday, you'll get a second taco for free.
Chuy's
On National Taco Day, people who dress up in a full taco costume get a free entrée. Other specials include a free crispy beef taco with an entrée purchase, $1 off Mexican beers, and $1 crispy beef tacos as add-ons to an order.
El Pollo Loco
