Two things are being coming to the American public this week—the new iPhone 6s (and 6s Plus) and Pope Francis. Unfortunately for some Apple customers in New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C., only one will arrive.

Pope Francis begins with Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, travels to New York City on Thursday, and finishes his six-day U.S. tour in Philadelphia on Saturday before flying back to Rome on Sunday.

Among the many things he'll be doing during his six-day visit will be delaying the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus releases in certain ZIP codes. It's completely unintentional, of course. The frenzy of his impending visit has caused UPS to cancel its rounds in 11 ZIP codes in Washington, D.C., seven in New York City, and ten in Philadelphia due to the certainty of gridlock.

Here are the ZIP codes affected:

D.C. (Tuesday to Thursday): 20001, 20002, 20004, 20005, 20006, 20008, 20016, 20017, 20018, 20036, 20037

New York City (Thursday and Friday): 10001, 10007, 10017, 10021, 10022, 10023, 10029

Philadelphia (Friday and Saturday): 19102, 19103, 19104, 19106, 19107, 19109, 19123, 19130, 19146, 19147

D.C. may get its phones by the Friday release, but it'll take nothing short of a miracle to get those phones delivered on time in NYC and Philly.
