Vote Now: Who Knows More About Money, Trump or Clinton?

Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump sparred over numerous pocketbook topics—including how much the president should know about money and running a business—in last night's first presidential debate at Hofstra University in New York.

During the debate, Trump declared, "it's about time that we had somebody running this country that knows something about money."

"DONALD TRUMP: I am very underleveraged. I have a great company. I have a tremendous income. And the reason I say that is not in a braggadocious way. It’s because it's about time that this country had somebody running it that has an idea about money."

Clinton challenged Trump's claims, referencing his unreleased tax returns and questionable business practices.
