To produce Money’s new Best Colleges rankings, we analyzed colleges’ performance on 24 factors related to educational quality, affordability, and student success.

By the time we were done, we had whittled a list of roughly 2,000 nonprofit, four-year colleges in the U.S. down to the 705 schools that we believe provide the best overall value for your money.

We also found that certain colleges excel in particular categories, such as graduation rates or how happy their alumni are with their jobs—and sometimes they aren't the ones you'd expect. Hence this quiz.

Here’s hoping you’ve studied—or at least read—our college rankings coverage, because the Best Colleges pop quiz starts now. Usually we’d preach no cheating, but if you have to take a peek, you can find profiles of each college here.
