Calling all boomer parents with adult children: What have you revealed to your kids about about your finances? MONEY magazine wants to know.

For an upcoming story, MONEY would love to hear from you on what you have — or haven’t — shared with your kids about your personal financial situation. We’d like to know why you chose to talk to them about it, or why you haven’t. Do you have a philosophy about familial financial disclosure? Has your experience with your own parents affected how you handle this subject with your kids?

And if you have had the money conversation with your kids, how did it go? Did it have the effect you thought it would?

Whatever you have to say on the subject, we want to know all about it, and we’d like to include your stories in our article. To contribute, please send a
confidential
email with your name, hometown and story to [email protected]. Because we won’t publish your comments unless we can follow up with you directly, please also include a phone number or email address where you can most easily be reached.

Thanks!
