Starbucks may be reluctant to overtly promote Christmas on seasonal cups, but the coffee chain seems to have no problem with “Christmas creep,” the term for the constant expansion of the holiday shopping period.

Customers who purchase special seasonal beverages like the pumpkin spice latte and, as the weather turns colder, wintry (not Christmasy!) drinks like peppermint mochas and eggnog latte tend to frequent Starbucks more often than people swinging by for a basic coffee—and the seasonal beverage enthusiasts tend to spend a lot more too. So it’s understandable why Starbucks would promote the heck out of limited-time-only beverages, while also pushing these drinks for longer and longer periods of time.

To get customers in the festive mood early—and hopefully, keep that mentality alive through December and even into the new year—Starbucks is offering a special incentive to taste its holiday beverages this weekend. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Starbucks customers who order a holiday beverage get a second one for free. If you’re a Starbucks Rewards member, the offer extends to Monday, November 16, as well (also only from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.).

The options for holiday beverages, which hit Starbucks stores on November 10, include the peppermint mocha as well as lattes in a choice of gingerbread, chestnut praline, caramel brulee, or eggnog.
