This iconic Georgian Revival gem is known for its Corinthian columns and handpainted murals.

The Mills B. Lane House

One of Savannah’s most iconic facades, the Mills B. Lane House was built in 1907 and overlooks the scenic Forsyth Park. With elegant columns, grand shuttered windows, and a garden veranda, it’s no wonder that this private oasis is selling for $6.75 million.

The Entry

Stepping inside this 14,500-square-foot estate, you’ll find parquet floors, period moldings, and 29 handpainted murals in the grand entrance hall. Talk about an impressive space to welcome guests!

The Pale Parlor

Step through stately pocket doors to get a glimpse of this luxurious parlor. One of two formal parlors in the home, this space has calming, pale walls, an extravagant chandelier, and an ornate fireplace. We’d love to grab a good book and camp out on this sofa with a cup of hot tea – wouldn’t you?

The Kitchen

This gourmet chef’s kitchen was built for throwing a party. The kitchen’s luxury appliances include a double oven, an indoor grill, a warmer oven, and a wine chiller. There’s also plenty of counter space to prep, a butler’s pantry for storage, a kitchen island, and a breakfast area for Saturday morning brunch.

The Punchy Parlor

The second of the formal parlors, this cheery yellow space feels like it’s straight out of an eccentric fairytale with its incredible fireplace and elongated windows.

The Dining Room

Listed as a “ballroom-size dining room,” this oversized entertaining space is the perfect spot for hosting formal dinner parties and holidays. In the center of the room is a stunning crystal chandelier, and large doorways make the room feel like it’s part of an open floor plan.

The Master Suite

The home’s bright, colorful patterns add eccentric character to this bedroom fit for royalty. On the opposite side of the room? A bright sitting area for lounging, complete with a fireplace and doors opening to the balcony. In addition to this red-accented master suite, the Mills B. Lane House has four third-floor bedrooms and a fourth-floor suite. Don’t worry about hiking up and down the stairs, though – you can enjoy the modern convenience of an elevator.

The Wine Cellar

Y’all, have we gone to heaven? This spacious wine cellar has a charming, rustic feel. House all of your favorite Southern sippers in this lower-floor room – where there’s space for over 500 bottles. And, once you’re finished with your favorite bottle of wine, the billiards room and spa are right around the corner.

The Porch

Can you imagine the stories you’d hear from this porch? Throw in a couple of rocking chairs, and we’re ready to invite the neighbors over. With elegant white Corinthian columns and “Swan’s neck” pediment, the home’s multiple porches and balconies show off a birds-eye view of Forsyth Park. This classic Southern porch is the perfect spot to sit a spell.

The Private Backyard

We’d be thrilled to lounge by this refreshing pool with an ice-cold glass of sweet tea (or, a piña colada!) in hand. The picturesque lot, located in Savannah’s celebrated South Historic District neighborhood, has a very private, fenced-in yard with fountains, gardens, and plenty of room for entertaining guests. There’s also a pool house, in case you need a little extra storage space.
