After retiring from the military, 17-year Air Force veteran Chris Sweetin translated his combat skills into his own business. He drained his savings and used all of his credit cards to open 3D Security Training Solutions in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It’s an academy that focuses on the training of bodyguards, executive and dignitary protection, security guards, and personal protection for individuals. He saw immediate success, and in roughly six months he broke even. Here, he talks about the successes and challenges of transitioning to civilian life.
