The women's World Cup is now in the knockout round, with the FIFA World Cup championship game coming up soon on Sunday, July 7.
The World Cup 2019 Round of 16 began on Saturday, June 22, and in its first match USA scored on two penalty kicks to beat Spain 2-1 on June 24. The reigning champion U.S. women's national team then defeated France, also 2-1, on Friday, June 28. Up next, in the women's World Cup semifinals, is USA vs. England, scheduled for Tuesday, July 2.
The U.S. women's national team entered the tournament as the heavy favorites to win again in the 2019 World Cup, and they lived up to the hype in group play — posting three shutout victories, including a record-breaking 13-0 win over Thailand. Through their first three World Cup matches, the U.S. scored 18 goals, versus zero for their opponents.

What Channel Is the Women's World Cup on?
As we have previously explained, women's World Cup 2019 games are being broadcast on a combination of channels, with English broadcasts on Fox or the pay channel FS1, and Spanish language broadcasts on Telemundo, Telemundo Deportes, or NBC Universo.
It's super easy to watch women's World Cup games for free on Fox, including USA vs. England on Tuesday, July 2. Even if you don't have cable, you can watch women's soccer games broadcast on Fox if you have a digital antenna hooked up to your TV.
You can buy a basic HDTV antenna for about $25 to $30, and it'll work like an old-fashioned "rabbit ears" antenna. Once it's connected to your TV, you can tune in nearby affiliates of unlimited, over-the-air networks, including Fox, ABC, NBC, and CBS, totally for free. The channels you get to watch for free depend on the strength of your antenna, where you live, and the placement of the antenna in your home — so it's worth trying different locations so you can tune in the most free TV channels possible.
To watch women's World Cup game TV broadcasts on FS1, you'll need cable or another pay TV package. FS1 is a pay channel owned by Fox, and it is fairly standard to include the network in cable packages. The Telemundo channels and NBC Universo are also included in most pay TV packages.

How to Live Stream the 2019 Women's World Cup for Free
If you have a log-in for a cable subscription or another pay TV package, you can watch the women's World Cup online with live streams at FoxSportsGo.com, the Fox Sports Go app, the Telemundo Deportes app, or the NBC Sports app. (The latter two come with World Cup live streams in Spanish.)
In order to live stream the women's World Cup with one of the services above, you generally have to log in with the account details and password for a participating pay TV provider. In other words, you have to subscribe to cable (or perhaps borrow someone's account details) to watch World Cup soccer through these services. (However, at times it seems like you can get away with streaming women's World Cup games in Spanish without logging in with a cable account, so it's worth trying.)
But there is another strategy you can use to watch the women's World Cup online for free — at least for a few days. The live-streaming TV services FuboTV, Hulu Live, DirecTV Now, Playstation Vue, and YouTube TV all come with FS1, along with local Fox channels in most of the country. The prices for these services are around $40 to $50 per month for the base package, though, again, all come with free trials.
Another, cheaper live-streaming TV option is Sling TV, which is available for only $15 for the first month ($25 monthly afterwards). The Sling Blue package comes with FS1, and local Fox channels are available with Sling TV in some (but not all) markets.
Just remember that if you ultimately decide you do not want to become a paying subscriber to a live-streaming TV service, you must cancel before the free trial ends. You'll be charged automatically for the first month if you do not cancel in time.
