Students often tend to study subjects they're comfortable with, rather than facing a challenge. Salman Khan, founder of the [Khan Academy](https://www.khanacademy.org/), understands this fear, and has some advice to lift you out of your comfort zone.

**Your mindset holds you back from learning.** Be willing to try new things. Don't let the idea of failure stand in your way.

**Getting answers wrong shows that you're learning.** Your neurons connect the most when you get a question wrong. Keep your brain active by challenging yourself.

**Having a positive attitude helps you learn.** Revel in learning new material, and failing while doing so. Take advantage of college and learn as much as possible.
