Yeezys Went On Sale Today, but You Probably Can't Get a Pair
Kanye West's black Yeezy 350 Boosts were re-released today, and according to Twitter, it was almost impossible to nab a pair.
No wonder West thanked Adidas for supporting him when he went on one of his (now iconic) Twitter rants this week. Hopefully that will put a dent in Ye's supposed $53 million debt, since his less than stellar album release certainly won't.
A visit to Adidas's website came with automated messages telling buyers to be patient, and that people were being "randomly allowed" to access the product page.
A few seconds later it read, "Keep waiting, there are still pairs available. Please do not refresh this page." But with over 20 minutes elapsing between the time this reporter opened the browser and then gave up hope on reaching the product page, it doesn't look good for shoppers who haven't scored their pair yet.
Footwear news reports that Adidas stores and select Foot Locker, Champs, and Finish Line locations are also selling the $200 sneakers. Naturally, pairs were already cropping up on eBay for as much as $1,299.
