Fresno Pacific is designated by the U.S. Department of Education as a Hispanic Serving Institution, and more than six in 10 students identify as Hispanic. The university has a unique two-year graduation guarantee for students transferring from the California Community College system to complete their bachelor's degrees.

FPU offers over 100 areas of study, with the most popular undergraduate majors being business administration, early childhood development, social work and liberal arts studies. The school ranks highly for affordability, and 98% of students receive some type of financial aid.

On campus, FPU students also flock to sports: The Sunbirds have 17 Division II teams that have won a total of 15 national titles. FPU is part of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), and it recently announced it will add a beach volleyball team to the university and build a new training facility.
