Best Hospitals for Cardiac Care

The best hospitals for cardiac care should have a track record of delivering high-quality care and be staffed by the best cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and other heart specialists. Cardiac care should be among their specialties.

Money's 2024 ranking of the best hospitals for cardiac care heavily emphasizes these factors. The list favors hospitals that received strong scores from both the federal government and patients, and have staff that are highly experienced in cardiac care. Ideally, facilities are affiliated with — or receive awards from — the nonprofit American College of Cardiology.

In total, 75 hospitals made the cut, each one vetted by Money staff for any red flags. Our main data partner in this project was health care transparency firm Denniston Data, which helped us collect, analyze and rank those statistics.
