Marie Groark

Mari Groark is the executive director of Get Schooled, a national non-profit that empowers and engages young people and gives them the tools and inspiration to get the education they need to succeed. Before joining Get Schooled, Ms. Groark served as a Senior Program Officer with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, leading its efforts to improve educational outcomes through advocacy and communication work. She began her career as a social studies teacher at John F. Kennedy High School in the Bronx.
