No Mean City

Adrenaline junkies will fit in well in this neighborhood 10 minutes from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, home to the iconic Indy 500 car races. The lakeside neighborhood is also a nature-lovers' suburb. Located about 25 minutes from downtown Indianapolis, home prices were around $145,499 in 2018.

Hiking, swimming, boating, and bird-watching are all prevalent activities on the Eagle Creek Reservoir, where many regularly spot bald eagles.
