On Thursday, Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is dishing out free pancakes to raise awareness of and encourage donations to its Give Kids the World charity.

Diners can come in and get a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes on Thursday, which Perkins has dubbed Give Kids the World Day. The usual caveats and fine print—one stack per customer, and "at participating locations," the company says—apply.

Give Kids the World is a nonprofit that raises funds to help bring sick kids and their families to "dream vacations" in Central Florida, where Perkins has a facility that houses the kids and families it hosts.
