Bed Bath & Beyond confirmed it is still selling Ivanka Trump's products following reports that the retailer pulled them, the company announced Saturday.

“We are not making our merchandising decisions based on anyone’s political beliefs,” Bed Bath & Beyond said in a statement. “We have Ivanka Trump products in some stores and carry them where consumer demand and business performance justifies it.”

The statement comes after Shannon Coulter, the co-founder of the #GrabYourWallet movement aimed at boycotting companies selling Trump-branded products, tweeted a screenshot of an e-mail from a Bed Bath & Beyond customer service representative saying the company no longer sold the merchandise.

“At this time, we are no longer carrying Trump merchandise,” the email read.

The emails creenshot created a stir on Twitter, and the company clarified that the customer service representative was incorrect.

“We want to apologize for recent confusion caused by one of our customer service representatives," the company said Saturday. "Our customer service representative inadvertently provided information to a customer that was no accurate.”

A search for Trump products on the company’s website yielded no results on Sunday.

Bed Bath & Beyond has more than 1,500 stores across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

In February, Nordstrom announced it would stop selling Trump’s clothing line based on the brand’s performance. President Donald Trump retaliated against the luxury retailer, saying his daughter “has been treated so unfairly by Nordstrom” in a tweet.
