Applebee's is offering customers a late Christmas present to kick off 2018: $2 Blue Moons throughout January.

The $2 Blue Moon deal, which applies to 10-ounce drafts for the entire month, will coincide with a real January blue moon — a second full moon in the same calendar month — which will occur on January 31. The month's first full moon occurred on the evening of Jan. 1.

Along with $2 Blue Moons, Applebee's is also offering all-you-can-eat riblets and all-you-can-eat chicken tenders for $12.99 throughout January.

"2018 is the year of delicious abundance and value at Applebee's, and we couldn't be more excited to kick it off by bringing back something special for our fans and neighbors," Applebee's chief culinary officer Stephen Bulgarelli said.

The timing of all three deals varies by location, so Applebee's advises customers to call their local restaurant ahead of time to see if the deal is available before heading over.

The $2 Blue Moons join the restaurant's other month-long drink deals.

Back in October, Applebee's debuted dollar margaritas, dubbed Dollaritas. In December, the restaurant chain introduced dollar Long Island iced teas.
