What are the pluses and minuses of running your own business? Is being your own boss worth the hassle? To find out, senior editor George Mannes went to Times Square to ask passers-by about what they thought. On the positive side of the ledger, people said that being an entrepreneur meant that you could set your own hours and keep for yourself all the economic payoff of your hard work. On the downside, running a small business can be an all-consuming endeavor. Forget about setting your own hours; you might very well end up working all the time.
