Starbucks Holiday Cup Leaves Some Critics With Bitter Taste

Starbucks has sparked outrage among some Christians by redesigning their annual holiday red cups and removing specific references to Christmas and other religious symbols. Some have taken the Internet by storm via Twitter and accused Starbucks of hating Christmas. Some are also calling for a boycott and even going so far as to declare their names as "Merry Christmas" so that baristas are forced to say it. Others, on the other hand, find the outrage trivial. Earlier this year, Starbucks faced controversy because of a campaign it launched trying to start a conversation about race in America.
