When does Target open on Black Friday? Most Target stores open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day and close at 1 a.m., and then reopen on Black Friday at 7 a.m. If you have a Target REDcard you can get a jump on the Black Friday deals: Select Black Friday deals will be available online to REDcard holders only beginning at 3 a.m. Eastern time on Wednesday, Nov. 21.
